Q3: Will I receive a physical Taiwan PASS after activation?

A3: No, the Taiwan PASS is a digital pass. Please download the Taiwan PASS app and activate it by entering the ’Redemption Code.’ Once activated, you can view the included tickets . Select the ticket you want to use, and a QR code/Redemption Code will be generated.

Q4: How do I use my Taiwan PASS?

A4: Please download the Taiwan PASS app from the App Store and activate it by entering the ’Redemption Code.’ Once activated, choose the transportation service you want to use, and a QR code will be generated for redemption.

Q5: How long is the Taiwan PASS valid?

A5: Once the redemption code is activated, it must be used within 365 days. The Pass is valid for 7days from the date of first use. For example, if the first ticket is redeemed and used on January 1, 2024, all tickets in the Pass will be valid until January 7, 2024, and expire after that date.

Q6: Where can I redeem and reserve the Taiwan High-Speed Rail Unlimited 3-Day Pass?

After completing the reservation, you must still use the QR code of the "round-trip ticket" product in the APP (for Sun Moon Lake and Alishan routes) or a physical ticket (for other routes) to board and alight. (QR code scanning is required when boarding and alighting.)
2.After the reservation is completed, it will be displayed on this APP page. Please present your reserved session to station staff for verification when boarding.

Q18: How can I reserve a one-way ticket for the Alishan Forest Railway Main Line (Chiayi – Alishan) that includes admission to the Alishan Forest Recreation Area?

A18: Only one-way tickets for the Alishan Forest Railway main line (Chiayi → Alishan) departing at 10:00 from Chiayi are available for reservation. A maximum of 6 seats are available per day, with limited quantity and priority given to early reservations.

Reservations cannot be canceled or changed once made, so please confirm your travel date before booking. The latest time to book each train is by 23:59, three days prior to departure. For example, if you plan to travel on April 14, the latest reservation time is 23:59 on April 11.
．Boarding Instructions: On your selected reservation date, please arrive at the Chiayi Railway Station’s Alishan Forest Railway platform. It cannot be transferred or provided to someone else.
