More Seats, More Fun — Alishan Forest Railway Expands to 23 Seats per Route
The newly added return ticket (one-way fare NT$600) offers 23 seats per day, departing from Alishan at 11:50 a.m. for a scenic 4-hour journey through lush mountain forests.
The outbound ticket (including admission to Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, one-way fare NT$750) is also expanded to 23 seats per day, departing from Chiayi Station at 10:00 a.m. for a 5-hour trip, with a one-hour stop at Fenqihu Station — a full and enjoyable travel experience!

After activating your Taiwan PASS, you can reserve your seat up to 60 days before departure, ensuring you won’t miss your Alishan train!
To further enhance convenience, travelers can now check available seats online before purchase to better plan their itinerary.
