1. Please exchange the "Taiwan Railways | 3-Day Pass" at one of the 18 designated Taiwan Railways stations within 365 days of purchasing online.
2. When redeeming the "Taiwan Railways | 3-Day Pass" with the QR code at the designated stations, travelers must "immediately" select an "activation date" (within 30 days from the date of purchase, including the purchase date). The pass must be used continuously from the selected "activation date" for 3 consecutive days, and non-consecutive use is not allowed. Once the activation date is chosen, it cannot be changed. For example, if the pass is redeemed on July 1, the activation date can be any day between July 1 and July 30, and it must be used for 3 consecutive days starting from the selected activation date. If not used within the validity period, the pass will expire.
3. During the validity period, if passengers do not make a seat reservation at the ticket counter in advance, they are considered to be traveling without occupying a seat. However, the following trains require seat reservations: Puyuma, Taroko, Tze-Chiang (EMU3000), and Group Trains. The pass is not valid for seat reservations or boarding on Tourist Trains, Cruise-Style Trains, Real-Name Registration Trains, Chartered Trains, other trains designated by Taiwan Railways, "Business Cars," and Premium Cars (e.g., Business Cars of Tze-Chiang (EMU3000)). Violations will be treated as traveling without a valid ticket, and penalties will be imposed according to the Taiwan Railways Passenger Transport Agreement.
