Along the way, you can gaze at the Huanbi Building, Sun Moon Inn, Lalu Island, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, Xuanguang Temple, floating boat houses, traditional fishing nets, the cable car station, the lake's outflow, and Wenwu Temple.

Information

| Explanation of Attractions Redemption Method

Present the electronic voucher (QR Code) from the Taiwan PASS APP at the Nantou Bus Sun Moon Lake Station, Pier Fleet (Shuishe Pier) Redemption Counter, or the Yuchi Township Farmers' Association Gift Shop on the 1st floor of the Ita Thao Tourist Center. Staff will scan the QR Code for redemption, allowing entry to board the boat.

  • Nantou Bus Sun Moon Lake Station: No. 163, Zhongshan Road, Yuchi Township
  • Pier Fleet Shuishe Redemption Counter: No. 11, Famous Street, Yuchi Township
  • Ita Thao Tourist Center 1st Floor (Yuchi Township Farmers' Association Gift Shop): 1st Floor, No. 127, Culture Street, Ri Yue Village, Yuchi Township, Nantou County
  • Please keep the boarding pass safe for ticket inspection; a replacement fee will apply if lost.

Limitations

  1. Physical tickets are bearer instruments; once redeemed, please keep them safe. In cases of loss, destruction, damage, or expiration, replacements or refunds will not be issued.
  2. For safety reasons, boating at Sun Moon Lake will be prohibited during heavy fog, typhoons (when Nantou County Government announces work and class suspensions), and other poor weather conditions.
  3. If a trip is delayed due to weather or other force majeure events, compensation cannot be claimed.
  4. Bicycles are allowed on board with a cleaning fee of NT$100 per bike. However, due to different boat capacities, not every trip can transport bicycles, so please check with staff in advance.
  5. One person per ticket, which is valid for a single use only.
  6. [Announcement on Adjustment of Sun Moon Lake Boat Tickets]
    In accordance with the regulations of the Sun Moon Lake fleet, tickets are now adjusted to circulate the lake once, returning to the initial boarding pier. If you need multiple stops, you will have to pay an additional charge according to on-site regulations, based on the announcements at the location.
  7. Boating activities may be postponed or canceled entirely if the local government determines it necessary to suspend work and classes due to natural disasters, or if the operational management teams deem it unsafe for visitors based on actual conditions in the area. Please check announcements on our Facebook event page before departure, as changes may not be notified separately.
