Taiwan PASS Force Majeure Refund and Exchange Notice
【Taiwan Railway】
★If train services are disrupted or impacted by typhoons (from the issuance to the lifting of a sea typhoon warning for Taiwan Island), and passengers are unable to board due to service suspension or delays, please have station staff validate your unused seat ticket and Taiwan PASS (TRA version) at a TRA station to apply for either a date change or a refund certificate.
Note: TRA stations only issue refund certificates, not cash refunds.

(1) Unused PASS: If the PASS validity falls within the typhoon warning or service disruption period, the activation date may be rescheduled. Refunds are not allowed.
(2) Activated PASS: If already activated and valid during the typhoon period or service disruption, passengers may apply for a refund certificate, but date changes are not allowed.

★TRA refund procedure:
Visit a TRA station → Obtain a refund certificate → Contact the original purchase channel to request a refund → Refund will be processed based on usage and suspension situation.
